Experience Research Firsthand

Science instead of a good night’s slumber: Leibniz Universität Hannover will open its doors on 10 November 2012 from 6.00 p.m. to midnight.

Take a look into laboratories and research facilities, marvel at astonishing experiments, listen to the lectures of researchers or watch films. Altogether, there are more than 140 exhibitions, lectures, guided tours, experiments and join-in events.

For over ten years, Leibniz Universität Hannover has regularly been giving the public the opportunity to acquire information about research at the university.

“A Night Out With Science in Scientific November” was the first event organised by Leibniz Universität Hannover in the scope of Scientific November, in which more than 40 facilities of Hannover’s university and research location opened their doors to the public for one whole month.

Scientific November

Scientific November is a project of the Science Initiative, to which the seven universities of Hannover, the Volkswagen Foundation, the Hannover Student Services, and the regional state capital of Hannover have dedicated themselves.
