...in case of question about digital media

Using digital media has become an essential part of studying. Stud.IP, digital literature, databases of the library and working via WLAN on campus are ubiquitous.

But students may have questions about the usage of new provided services, be generally interested in services, learning and living with digital media, or they do not know anything about the eLearning Services.

The eLearning helpdesk of the eLearning Service Abteilung (elsa) in cooperation with the TIB/UB is the central Service Point for questions concerning digital media. During the week members of staff will be helping personally at the Welfengarten (Building 1) and at the Königsworther Platz (FBK).
Questions about the following topics can be asked:


  • Stud.IP: registration and use
  • Basics of the Online-Services: IdM and online-portal
  • wireless internet: registration and use on campus (WLAN)
  • location-independent studying: Access to the digital library (VPN)
  • digital librabry: databases and electronical texts and articles
  • PC-workstations of the TIB/UB: download, print, scan
  • literature management software: Citavi and others
