Which persons do NOT need to apply at ASSIST?

All applicants for international study programs, doctoral programs, and Master
study courses
have to continue sending their application to the Immatrikulationsamt - Admissions-.

Applicants from member countries of the European Union (EU), they have to send their applications directly to the Matriculation Office ("Immatrikulationsamt -Admissions-") of the University of Hannover.

The application deadline for all subjects and for the Studienkolleg is the 31st of May for the subsequent winter semester.
Applications for the summer semester are not possible at the University of Hannover.

From the range of courses you can learn which subjects have admissions restrictions.

What is meant by complete documents?

Your school-leaving certificate with grade transcript
perhaps further proofs on university entrance examination, enrolment, or studies in the home country (with grade transcript of the study achievements).

Proof of German language skills, a copy of that page of your passport, which shows your name together with your passport photograph.

These documents are required by ASSIST in the form of certified photocopy and certified German translation, not the original document; certificates in English or Spanish do not need to be translated.

Incomplete documents can unfortunately not be handled by ASSIST.

How do you have to apply with ASSIST?

You can click to see an application form which you can fill in directly on the PC and then print out. If you want to apply to two or more "ASSIST-Universities", you can use a simplified "ASSIST Application Form Multi". By mouse click you can also see a list of all ASSIST-universities.
Please attach complete documents to the filled-in and signed application form. ASSIST only needs those documents once, even if you apply to two or more ASSIST-universities. Please do not forget to quote your e-mail-address.
