Interdependence and interaction in the Atlantic region
The master's degree course Atlantic Studies in History, Culture and Society examine the localisation of global processes, the ties between Africa, the Americas, particularly Latin America and the Caribbean and Europe as well as the continuing peculiarities of developments in the various world religions. Students of the research-oriented Master's degree should have a considerable interest in interdisciplinary problems relating to the Atlantic regions. Courses are offered by lecturers from the English, History and Sociology departments and the Institute of Theology and History of Religions .
