Description of the Subject

Through their training in methods of natural and social science, students of landscape architecture and environmental planning at Leibniz Universität Hannover acquire with the creative skills needed to meet the challenges of the future. In the course we train personalities who will take over responsibility for creating and maintaining a high quality of life in town and country. The spectrum ranges from designing public and private green spaces to town planning and the development of environmentally-friendly concepts of space. Without dedication and persuasiveness on behalf of the natural and urban environment, and without an inquiring interest in our way of living, this cannot succeed.

At Leibniz Universität Hannover, students acquire the skills to be active as landscape architects and environmental planners in the public or private sector, with the emphasis on forward-looking creative design, cautious exploration of living space and sustainable economic activity.
