The many sides of sport

"People who study sports are turning their hobby into a career." A sweeping assumption, which certainly has a core of truth. But studying sports is more than "just" doing sports. A degree in Sports is principally aimed at teaching all aspects of sports to others, primarily as physical education teachers in schools.
Coaching science and historical, sociological, pedagogical and medical perspectives will be central to the degree. Those finishing after receiving the Bachelor's degree generally aspire to teaching positions or other career opportunities in sports organisations or other sports sectors outside the school.
