Degree Courses

  • Bachelor’s degree (single subject degree)

Description of the Subject

How can technical products be put on the market? How do communication structures work between engineers and economists? The degree in industrial engineering equips students with the skills and knowledge to become intermediaries between engineering and economics. While engineers first of all concentrate on the technical perfection of their products, economists primarily pursue their marketability. Graduates in industrial engineering are predestined to solve the problems of communication between these two groups.

As the link between business and engineering, industrial engineers set targets, plan, take decisions, organise and monitor wherever technical and economic issues arise (mainly together). During their studies, future industrial engineers gain a thorough insight into both subjects.
