Study Guide
Science and Society
The Master’s degree in Science and Society is interdisciplinary and research-oriented and looks at the modern knowledge society from different perspectives. The degree course builds upon the specialised knowledge from different disciplines at Leibniz Universität Hannover (such subjects as sociology, political science, law, philosophy, economics, amongst others) and runs in collaboration with the HIS Hochschul-Informations-System GmbH (Higher Education Information System). In a project module, students improve their skills in (research) practice. The degree qualifies students for research and teaching activities in different sectors.
