Psychological Counselling for Students

Studying provides space and time for learning processes and academic qualification, as well as for personal development. However, this does not always occur without contradiction or run smoothly and continually. Psychological Counselling for Students supports and advises students registered at Leibniz Universität Hannover when they face psychological or social problems.

  • relationship and partner conflicts
  • disruptions and crises due to or affecting studies
  • anxieties about examinations and disruptions in the course of studies
  • questions relating to their suitability for academic study
  • feeling of hopelessness
  • psychosomatic discomfort

During the semester, the range of counselling is extended by topic-specific group programmes. The ptb supports self-help groups initiated by students. Upon prior agreement, students with children can use the ptb child-care facility during the opening hours.
