The German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) is the world's largest specialist library for engineering, as well as architecture, chemistry, computer science, mathematics and physics.

Plenty of reading material for scientists: the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) is the German National Library for engineering, as well as architecture, chemistry, computer science, mathematics and physics.

The library is also participating in research projects, such as in automatic cataloguing of non-textual material such as video, audio, 3-D models or e-learning documents.

The TIB is obtaining national licences for electronic journal archives and books which will be provided free of charge primarily to universities and independent research facilities. In the digital age, the TIB is also constantly increasing is range of electronic publications, including eJournals, eBooks and specialist databases.
