Wave Maps and Bilinear Fourier Restriction

In the first part of this talk, I will explain the connection between Stein’s problem concerning the restriction of the Fourier transform to curved hypersurfaces and dispersive PDEs. In the second part, I will present a new solution of the so-called division problem for the Wave Maps equation.
