Digital information session for the new international Master “Religion in the Public Sphere”

A new international Master programme „Religion in the Public Sphere” will start at Leibniz Universität Hannover from October 2021. The programme is organised by the Institute for the Study of Religion, in co-operation with the Institute of Sociology.

A second digital information session will take place on June 9, 2021, 2pm CEST.

The Master programme focuses on the negotiation of religion and secularity in current European societies. On the basis of a discursive approach different areas of culture and society, politics and law, as well as education are studied.

The programme (in English language) may either be studied fully in Hannover (“home track”), or both in Hannover and at one of our partner universities (Università Roma Tre in Rome or Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm), as a double degree programme.
