The Welcome Centre is the central point of contact for international researchers (postdocs and professors) at LUH.

Philipp Schwartz Initiative 9th call

Starting today, it is possible to apply for funding from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to support threatened researcher in the 9th call for nominations in the Philipp Schwartz Initiative. Any scholar from non-EU countries can be nominated if thes are exposed to significant and acute risks.


Scholars must be nominated by institutions and cannot apply directly. Sucessful institutions will receive funds to grant the nominated scholar research stay of 24 month. An extension up to 12 month can be granted in the framework of a co-financing model.


The deadline for nominations is 5 March 2021.
