Research Assistant (Postdoc, m/f/d) under the ERC-Grant “RationAlgic”

(Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 100 %)

The Institute of Algebraic Geometry invites applications for the position of a Research Assistant (Postdoc, m/f/d) under the ERC-Grant “RationAlgic” (Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 100 %) to be appointed on October 1st, 2022 or earlier. The position is limited to three years.

Responsibilities and duties

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the research of the department. He/she should have a good research track record in Algebraic Geometry and participate actively in the activities of the ERC-Projekt.

Employment conditions

To qualify for the position, applicants must hold a scientific university degree. Furthermore, a doctoral degree in Mathematics with above-average success in Algebraic Geometry is expected. The applicants research is expected to have some connections to rationality questions and/or algebraic cycles.
