Junior Professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law and Attorney Regulations Law

The Faculty of Law invites applications for the following position within salary scale W1 of the Lower Saxony salary system (NBesO) with tenure track leading to salary scale W2 NBesO to be appointed at the earliest possible date: Junior Professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law and Attorney Regulations Law
The position is limited to three years with a renewal option for a further three years. Following a positive evaluation, the candidate will receive a tenured professorship (salary scale W2 NBesO).
The Position
- Research and teaching in the field of Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law and Attorney Regulations Law
- The position is part of the Institute for Civil Procedure Law and Attorney Regulations Law and will be integrated in its research and teaching projects as well as its co-operations at home and abroad
Your Profile
- A scholarly track record in Private Law and / or Civil Procedure Law and / or Attorney Regulations Law
- Ability to teach compulsory subjects and specialised areas of German law (with regard to the state examination) as well as other programmes of the Faculty of Law
- Willingness to acquire and collaborate on third-party funded projects
- Good command of German and English is a prerequisite
