Opportunities for Studying Abroad

Programmes at LUH

The International Office offers various options for studying in Australia, such as spending a semester abroad at a partner university of LUH or at one of three Australian universities within the framework of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). In order to increase your chances of getting a placement, we recommend applying for both programmes.

Furthermore, there are research programmes with substantially reduced semester fees at the University of Wollongong (one semester) or at the University of New South Wales (up two two semesters) for students enrolled in master’s degree programmes. Interested students should contact Stephen Sechrist.

Internships in Australia are also possible.

  • Students in the fields of natural sciences, geoscience, engineering, medicine, and computer science may complete an internship in Australia via the RISE Worldwide programme.

  • Teacher training students and graduates of teacher training programmes may complete an internship in Australia via the DAAD scholarship programme "Lehramt.international".
