Program
There are two intertwined programs between the Biology Department at Northeastern University and the Natural Science Department at LUH. The Latter is grant-aided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within the framework of ISAP (or IAS) and has been without fail since 1980.
The stay at Northeastern usually occurs in the winter semester.
Academia
On the German Side, the program is addressed to students in the master programs of Life Science, Molecular Microbiology und Plant- and Biotechnology.
Semester Dates
Semester 3: winter semester, usually October – March
Grant-aided Period
October 1st - March 31st
Prerequisites
All Master students with a completed Bachelor's degree in the programs of Life Science, Molecular Micorbiology and Plant- and Biotechnology are eligible to apply.
There will be an informational meeting in January, interviews will be scheduled for April.

Cost
(Reduced) Tuition will be coverd by DAAD. Furthermore a monthly stipend of currently 1100 € will be paid out and flat rate airfare will also be covered.
