Universidad Nacional de Colombia
The Universidad Nacional de Colombia is Colombia’s first state university and was founded in 1867. The university’s main campus is in Bogotá. It also has branches in Medellín, Palmira, Manizales, Arauca, Leticia, San Andrés and Providencia.
Under the partnership, the stay is limited to one or, at most, two semesters. Students from Leibniz University can enrol on any of the degree programmes offered at this university. The academic terms run from March to July and August to December. Applications are accepted from the second semester of the Bachelor’s degree onwards. Proof of a B1 level of Spanish is required. The certificate must be issued by LUH or a recognised language centre.

Universidad de Cartagena
The University of Cartagena was founded in 1827 by Francisco de Paula Santander and Simón Bolívar, the ‘Liberator of South America’. It is a public university located in the city of Cartagena de Indias, on the Caribbean coast. It is one of the oldest universities in the Colombian Caribbean region.
The agreement with this university is a faculty agreement for students of the Faculty of Humanities. Students from the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures are given priority. Universidad del Rosario
The Universidad del Rosario is a private university in Bogotá. The Faculty of Creative Studies (FaCrea) was established following a four-year study of leading international programmes in fields of study related to creativity. This transdisciplinary faculty was thus created in line with the Universidad del Rosario’s vision: it differs from national programmes but is in keeping with cutting-edge international programmes. Universidad EAFIT
urbam-EAFIT is a centre for education, research and social engagement focusing on urban-environmental processes; a space for action-oriented critical reflection on emerging and changing territorial contexts. Applications are accepted from the second semester of the Bachelor’s degree onwards. A B1 level is recommended for courses in Spanish, and B2 for courses in English. No specific certificates need to be submitted; a certificate from the university is sufficient.

Expenses
Students are responsible for covering the costs of travel, health insurance, accommodation and meals, etc. The cost of accommodation and meals for a semester varies depending on the type of accommodation, the cost of living in the relevant region or city, and personal requirements.
