LUH President in Charge of European Network

Prof. Dr. Volker Epping appointed senior chairperson of the Presidents‘ Board of the alliance EULIST – European Universities Linking Society and Technology

Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) is part of the alliance EULIST - European Universities Linking Society and Technology. This consortium consisting of nine universities aims to build a long-term strategic partnership in order to promote networking and exchange between society and technological development in education, research and knowledge transfer.

The network has now elected Volker Epping, President of LUH, as senior chairperson of the Presidents' Board, the most important decision-making body of the new alliance. Andreas Boudouvis, President of the National Technical University of Athens (NTU), has been appointed deputy chairperson. The chairpersons are in charge of managing the network, as well as the Presidents' Board.

In addition to LUH from Germany and NTU Athens from Greece, the alliance includes universities in Brno (Czech Republic), Bratislava (Slovakia), Lappeenranta-Lahti (Finland), Jönköping (Sweden), Madrid (Spain), Rome (Italy), and Vienna (Austria).
