Support for researchers from Ukraine

Extended deadline: Until 18 March, threatened researchers from Ukraine may be nominated for a fellowship awarded within the scope of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative

In light of the crisis in Ukraine, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation offers universities and research institutions in Germany the opportunity to submit well-founded applications for acutely threatened researchers from Ukraine within the scope of the current selection process of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.

Nominations for acutely threatened researchers from Ukraine may be submitted until 18 March 2022. In light of this state of emergency and in agreement with the Federal Foreign Office, proof of a threat provided by a third party is not required. Moreover, nominations for Ukrainian researchers may be added to applications that have already been submitted. Learn more
