Oberseminar zur Algebra und Algebraischen Kombinatorik
On socles of centers of group algebras
In this talk, we consider the socle of the center of an algebra and address the question under which conditions it is an ideal in this algebra. We mainly focus on group algebras and discuss some approaches for p-groups in greater detail.
