Career path from physics research to building a pioneering biotech company

The network "Seminars of Women in Science", initiated by the CRC/TRR 298 SIIRI, invites female subproject leaders, postdocs and PhD students both within and outside SIIRI. The overall aim of this network and the associated seminars is to strengthen collaboration between established and emerging female scientists from different disciplines. Outstanding female scientists act as role models and share insights into their own research and career paths. The initiative aims to encourage young female scientists and help them gain confidence regarding their own career opportunities.

In her inspiring talk, Dr. Saklayen will share insights into her exceptional career path from physics research at Harvard to building a pioneering biotech company that is revolutionizing personalized regenerative medicine.

Following the lecture, there will be a relaxed virtual get-together, offering space for further discussion and exchange.
