What do researchers at Leibniz University Hannover do? What happens behind the doors of research buildings and research laboratories? Every two years at A Night Out with Science, various departments, faculties and institutes provide a look behind the scenes via talks, tours, experiments, exhibitions and activities where visitors can take part.

November of Science
A Night Out with Science at Leibniz University Hannover is part of November of Science, a project of the Science Initiative Hannover, and includes Hannover’s eight universities, the Volkswagen Foundation, Studentenwerk Hannover, various scientific facilities, and the city of Hannover. In 2025, November of Science will take place from 5 to 23 November. Numerous events will provide visitors with a glimpse of Hannover’s higher education and research sector.
