Patent Law in the Natural Sciences

Knowledge of intellectual property law remains the most important entrepreneurial skill for scientists and (start-up) founders to turn innovative ideas into sustainable business concepts, and virtually all business schools offer expensive IP training. According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), understanding intellectual property is now central to running a successful business in all sectors.

This English-language seminar provides an introduction to the field of patents based on many real cases and practical exercises. It also provides insights into the opportunities for scientists to join the profession of patent attorney.
