English Refresher Course II

As part of the course, the content of the "English Refresher Course I" is revisited and expanded in a fast-paced format. More complicated grammatical structures (including the future tenses, the present perfect, the past perfect and if-sentences) are emphasised.

In addition, oral and written exercises are used to expand participants' vocabulary and improve their verbal skills. Only English will be spoken during the course.

staff who have completed the "English Refresher Course I" or have comparable knowledge, feel quite confident in English and would like to give their English a general overhaul

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

independent use of language, good basic knowledge of English (language level B1)

Guideline for participation in the language courses

The language courses offered in the training and qualification programme are systematised according to the competence levels of the Common Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This provides a benchmark for the acquisition of language skills and aims to make different language certificates comparable with each other.
