Leibniz University is changing its application process for applications from non-EU countries for the winter semester 2024/25. Whereas before, you had to apply at uni-assist, you now have to register at uni-assist in order to get apreliminary review documentation 'VPD'.
This means that international applicants must first apply for a VPD from uni-assist before the application period. With this VPD you can then apply directly to Leibniz University within the normal application periods. The VPD is relevant for all bachelor's degree programmes and for certain master's degree programmes.
Prospective students with a refugee background do not need a VPD.
