Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover Public Law Foundation is a foundation under public law with legal capacity (sections 55-62 NHG). It provides funding for Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), supports the university in its capacity as a foundation under public law, and oversees legal issues. The foundation aims to improve the quality of research, teaching, studies and further education at LUH by using the funding allocated to it in a responsible and efficient manner.
