Vice President for Finance and Administration Re-Elected

The Senate and University Council of Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) have re-elected Dr Christoph Strutz to a further term in office of eight years. Christoph Strutz has been Vice President for Finance and Administration at LUH since 2013. Prior to that, he held the same position at University of Hildesheim and was involved in international development work for many years. "It is, and has always been a pleasure to work with the Presidential Board and the administrative team at Leibniz University Hannover", says Christoph Strutz. "I particularly enjoy contributing to the strong international position of Leibniz University Hannover!"

The Vice President is primarily responsible for financial and administrative matters. Following delegation of the authority to plan and implement building projects to Leibniz University Hannover, the structural development of LUH is an important part of his work.

Sabine Johannsen, state secretary at the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony (MWK), presented the certificate of appointment to Dr Christoph Strutz on Wednesday 20 March 2019.
