On 19 July 2018, Leibniz University Hannover welcomed a delegation from Anhui University (located in Hefei, China), received by the Vice President for Teaching and Academic Programmes, Professor Billmann-Mahecha (fourth from the right), as well as the Head of the International Office, Dr. Barden-Läufer (second from the right). The Vice President of Anhui University, Mr HU Xiaosong (fifth from the right), the Deputy Dean of the School of Business and a staff member of the International Office were accompanied by Ms DING Yuhong, Director of Foreign Affairs Division, Anhui Provincial Education Department, as well as Mr TANG Zhongshen, Director of Higher Education Division, Anhui Provincial Education Department. The Anhui province is a partner region of the State of Lower Saxony. Both parties are thus very interested in a university partnership. Mr SUN Jianan (first from the right), Hefei German Representative Office, has overseen the establishment and development of the relationship for many years, as well as activities between the universities in Hannover and Hefei, amongst others.
