DAAD and University Awards

for International Students and Doctoral Candidates

Every year, four international students, who distinguish themselves not only through good academic performance but also through a special commitment inside and outside the university, are awarded. The awards are the DAAD Award (allocated with € 1.000) and three university awards (allocated each with €500).

Awarding Institution:
President of Leibniz University Hannover via the International Office

Eligible Person for the Award:
International students, doctoral candidates and persons who recently finished their studies (final exam less than 3 months ago).

Candidates can only be nominated by a member of the university. An application by your own is not possible.

Turnus:
Every year (since 1995) in winter semester. The award ceremony takes place in December within the Jour Fixe International.

Allocation:
The award is allocated with an allowance in money.
