The Institute of Analysis welcomes applications for the following position starting on October 1, 2025 or later: Research Staff in the field Analysis (salary scale 13 TV-L, 75 %)
The position is limited to 3 years.
Your role
For this position, responsibilities and duties include
- contribution to the research projects of the institute,
- contribution to the teaching of the department and
- assistance with examinations.
This position allows the applicant to gain further academic qualifications (PhD). You are part of a dynamic working group with a focus on harmonic and global analysis as well as functional analysis.
Who are we looking for?
To qualify for the position applicants must hold a master or diploma degree in mathematics and be qualified for independent research. A solid background in a suitable area of analysis such as global and microlocal analysis, spectral theory or operator theory is expected.
