STEPin...
makes it easier for you to start your studies at Leibniz Universität Hannover. To this end, the International Office is organising a series of seminars in September 2023 on various topics that will help you get used to everyday life at the university more quickly. If you have participated in all seminars and workshops, you will receive a certificate of participation.
The course includes accommodation in the youth hostel in Hanover (5 nights). Accomodation is part of the course format.

26.09.2023: Intercultural Communication and Teambuilding
Time: 10 am - 4 pm (plus evening activity)
Location: Leibniz Universität Hannover, International Office
Aims and contents:
- In many practical and interactive exercises we will deal with culture and its influence on our perception and actions. In this way, you can develop your ability to perceive and use the opportunities of intercultural encounters on campus, to deal creatively with diversity, and to work out solutions together in teams with different compositions.

Time: 10 am - 4 pm

28.09.2023 Workshop "Stress - friend or foe? How to get to know your stress and manage it better"
Time: 10am - 6 pm

- Learning strategies
- Exam preparation
- Time management and self-organisation
- Mental health and stress management in studies (ptb Uni Hannover)
- Afternoon: Visit to the high ropes course (climbing)

Time: 10 am - 3 pm

Aims and contents:
- Guided tour of the TIB library
- Presentation of ZQS/Career Service
- Closing round / reflection
- Group activity
