To help such students get to know these new structures and find their way around quickly, we offer an Orientation Day before courses begin – not a big event, but individual familiarisation with the university.
Simply arrange an appointment with a student. He or she will then show you all of the places that are important at university, and how to get there. Here are some examples of the questions addressed:
- Where will my lectures be held?
- Where is the dining hall, and how do things work there?
- Where can I find barrier-free access?
Whatever questions or uncertainties you may have, you will “explore” the university together.
