Transparency of Project Funding

Since March 2016, Leibniz University Hannover has published an annual list of all third-party-funded research projects that occurred at the University in the previous year (reporting date 1 December). The list contains information on the organisational unit(s), funder, project title, duration of the project and funding amount. In cases of contractually agreed confidentiality, the information may be withheld.

The public can also find out about research activities at Leibniz University Hannover on the research portal "Research@Leibniz University". The data in the research portal comes from the university's own research information system (FIS), which is currently under construction. This makes it easy to search for information on research projects, publications, patents and other research achievements that have been carried out at Leibniz University Hannover.

Below you will find the lists (PDF) with research projects of Leibniz University Hannover (record date 1 December, 2023), sorted by types of funders. As of the reporting date, 1.484 externally funded projects were recorded, with a total funding volume of EUR 696.5 million.
