The Faculty of Law invites applications for the following position of Salary Scale W3 NBesO starting as soon as possible: University Professorship (m/f/d) in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law with an additional area

The Position

  • The successful candidate should research and teach Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law with an additional area.
  • The position is part of the Institute for Criminal Science. The position aims to complement the Institute’s research and teaching profile.

Your Profile

  • A scholarly track record in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law with an additional area – preferably not Commercial Criminal Law or Medical Criminal Law.
  • Ability to teach compulsory subjects and specialised areas of German law (with regard to the state examination) as well as other programmes of the Faculty of Law.
  • Potential connection with the key research areas of Leibniz University Hannover.
  • Experience in acquisition of third-party funding is desired.
  • Good command of German and English is a prerequisite.
