The ServiceCenter is the central place to go if you have a question about studying in general, or if you are seeking advice about your studies. Whether you are a student, a prospective student or a guest at Leibniz University Hannover, feel free to come and benefit from the range of services provided there. At the ServiceCenter your questions will be answered and you will be given help adjusting to the routines of student life at our university.

General opening hours

Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

ServiceCenter is closed on Friday

The ServiceCenter will be closed on Friday, 6 December due to an internal event. The service hotline (+49 511 762 2020, studium@uni-hannover.de) and the ZSB peer counselling service in the Infothek will be available for you as usual.

How to reach the ServiceCenter units

  • Reception Desk

    The reception desk at the ServiceCenter accepts and issues all documents that cannot be transmitted digitally, processes the issuing of replacement Leibnizcards and assists with general orientation.

  • Infothek of the Student Advisory Service

    You can reach the Student Advisory Services student peers at the ServiceCenter's Infothek. They offer initial information and advising from students for students, prospective students and pupils from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, provide assistance and advice, and refer students to the advisors at Student Advisory Services where necessary. There you can get support, for example, with your application, with organisational questions about your studies, with questions about online services and with finding the right contact person.

    You can reach the Student Advisory Services advisors with all your questions about studying via email at studienberatung@uni-hannover.de. For initial information by phone or to make an appointment, you can contact us Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm via our office: +49 511 762 5580.

  • Centre for Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Learning (ZQS)
    • Learning guidance
      The office hours of the Learning Guidance Service are held on Thursday from 1:00–2:00 pm in the Infothek.
    • Career Service
      The Career Service office hours are held on Monday from 1:00–2:00 pm in the Infothek.

How to find the ServiceCenter

The ServiceCenter is located in the main building of Leibniz University Hannover, the Welfenschloss. The ServiceCenter connects directly to the atrium ("Lichthof") on level 01. Due to its central location, you can easily reach it via the main entrance.
