If you have questions regarding examinations in one of our diploma, Bachelor or Master programs you can reach the colleagues of the Academic Examination office via telephone during the office hours Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 12:00 using the Servicehotline: 0511-762 2020
Outside of these office hours we ask you to use E-Mail to contact the Academic Examinations Office.

Reaching the Academic Examinations Office via E-Mail
We ask you to contact the colleague responsible for your program directly or via Studium@uni-hannover.de.
Due to the amount of E-Mails reaching us an answer to your query may be delayed. Thank you for understanding that we cannot reply to all mails immediately. Please refrain from sending more E-Mails but instead reach out to us with your telephone number so that we can get into contact with you. We will call you as quickly as possible.

Reaching the Academic Examinations Office in person
As of November 22nd 2021 the Academic Examinations Office offers scheduled personal office hourse. You can schedul the appointment (via telephone or E-mail) for one of the following topics
- Handing over of the final documents after successful studies (only in urgent cases)
- Inspection of examination or final thesis files
- Questions about examination procedures that put your studies are at risk (prolongation of study period, dropping out of studies)
- Questions about examination procedures due to language barriers
An appointment for other reasons is only possible after direct telephone clearance via the responsible colleague at the Academic Examination Office. After making an appointment, you will receive information about the premises and hygiene standards. Please note that tardiness will result in the loss of the appointment due to the tight schedule and our mandatory hygiene regulations.

The Academic Examinations Office is responsible for organizing examinations for diploma, bachelor's and master's courses.
The tasks of the Academic Examinations Office also include receiving forms, granting admissions and non-admissions to examinations, checking deadlines, issuing and handing out certificates and notifications.
If you are studying law with a state examination (first examination), please contact the examinations office of the Faculty of Law directly.
Intermediate examinations for teacher training courses are the responsibility of Leibniz Universität Hannover, but are only partially supervised by the Academic Examination Office (LBS electrical engineering, LBS construction engineering, wood technology, color and interior design, LBS metal technology). The faculties are also responsible.
