Quality management in appointment processes ensures fair, transparent and objective selection procedures according to international standards in structured and legal processes.

 

Appointment management

The appointment management department at LUH plays a central role in quality assurance in appointment matters. It is directly assigned to university management via the Vice President for Appointments, Human Resources and Continuing Education. The appointment management department assists the faculties in conducting proper appointment and evaluation processes while supporting university bodies in charge of auditing process quality.

In its capacity as appointment representative, the appointment management department attends all selection meetings of the appointment committees in an advisory role in order to directly avoid procedural errors, maintain binding standards and address strategic objectives of university development planning in front of the commission.
