Reasons could be the need for full-time work or having care responsibilities, such as looking after children or the elder. At Leibniz University Hannover, however, only a few study programmes are part-time studies.

  • Based on an application, students can be enrolled for part-time study if the responsible faculty board has established that the selected degree is suitable as a part-time course.
